Kayak itself is quite good but I have to make some tweaks to make it perfect ???? it has some useful features such as rear hatch which is not very common thing in similar dropstitch kayaks. I love this feature because my camera tripod sits in that hole just perfectly and with some bungee cords it is absolutely secure. The kayak has a flat bottom - no V shape so I felt very secure and comfortable during the maiden ride since I don’t paddle a lot. In other words, kayak is not wobbly or tippy at all - great choice for me ????. The fact that the hull is flat should be more highlighted on the website though. Although the hull is flat, tracking is great probably thanks to the length of the boat - 426cm and 2 skegs (fins). I reached speeds around 8km/h (according to GPS) with some energy reserve. Which leads me to the paddles that come with this boat. Quite regular cheap ones. The blades are quite firm but splashy as hell. The length of these (somewhere around 220cm) is just not sufficient for 81cm wide boat. I paddle solo in the middle, thus in the widest point of the boat and let me be clear, I was soaking wet and so was the open cockpit of the kayak. 240cm long paddles would definitely solve this issue. And of course some drainage holes would be nice ???? The seats are terrible, sorry STORY ???? basically no padding and the backrest is paper thin so the whole seat does not hold its shape. I was constantly trying to find a way to fix it, with no success. This is probably THE most significant issue I have to sort out for in the near future. There is a huge amount of space in the cockpit so this boat is great for multi day trips as well as for family vacations. I love it already and I recommend it. I bought it in sale and I think that the price was right for what you get. I would not buy it for its original price of USD2100,- I feel that for this money one can have much better boat such as Sea Eagle 385 Fast track, which I was considering as well. By the way there was a HUUUUGE transport bag in the package too. Pretty good quality one but for the boat with all accessories it is waaaay to big ????
